trailer units and rail car units assured the safe arrival of
perishables to more distant locations. Seagoing Thermo King units
were introduced, making it as easy for the transport industry to
ship perishables across the oceans as it was to ship over land. As
the world's work force grew, mass transit became more important.

now includes rail car air conditioning systems.

Progress to Excellence Award for the Third Time

Thermo King, Inc. receives the Thermo King Progress to
Excellence Award for the third year in a row. Thermo King Asia
Pacific conducts a yearly dealer performance evaluation program
consisting of a series of criteria pertaining to management, sales
and service operations. This year, Filipinas Thermo King once
again gains the highest honor among Asia Pacific dealers, garnering the most points in the overall results of the evaluation.
