The primary benefit of Cycle-Sentry is, of course, fuel savings. Since the refrigeration unit is running only when it needs to, instead of continuously, less fuel is consumed. How much less, and how soon you will realize a return on your investment will depend on your hours of operation and the cost of fuel. In actual field test on trailer units, Cycle-Sentry has been shown to result in fuel savings of as high as 80%.

Lower Maintenance Costs, Too.
Fuel savings are not the only savings you'll realize when you install a Cycle-Sentry V Plus. You'll also experience lower maintenance costs. While you will still want to perform maintenance at the recommended intervals, those intervals will occur less frequently. The result is lower maintenance cost each year. Fits Many Existing Thermo King Truck And Trailer Units.
The compact, modular design of the Cycle-Sentry V Plus allows it to replace control panel of many existing Thermo King truck and trailer units. It can be installed in most existing SNWD, SB-I, SB-II or Sentry 30 trailer units, and a variety of MD-I, KD-I, RD-I or TD-I 30 truck units. No special metal cutting or tooling is required. Simply remove the existing control panel, install the engine components, and insert the Cycle-Sentry V Plus.

Easy To Install.
The Cycle Sentry v Plus has been designed to allow for easy installation. Each unit comes with universal harnesses and engine components, and a step-by-step installation guide. A typical installation can be completed in less than two hours.

Built-In Cycle/Sentry Sensors Safeguard Unit Operation.
Each Cycle Sentry V Plus includes several built-in safety features that help assure on-going operation of the unit. 
  

• Battery Sentry keeps the unit running until the battery reaches full charge, insuring a fully charged battery for the next start attempt.

• RPM Sensor will disengage the starter if 50 RPMs are not achieved in the first 4-5 seconds of cranking. This feature provides maximum protection against extreme starter or ring gear damage should the starter fail to engage.

• Block Temperature Sensor automatically starts the unit when the engine block temperature drops below 30 degrees. This saves on ear of batteries, starters, and glow plugs.

• Thermistor - Proper preheat time is accomplished with a temperature sensing Thermistor. This allows the engine to preheat for a period of 5 to 20 seconds, depending on the temperature of the engine block. This provides further protection for battery and glow plugs.
