Smart Cycle Sentry
It's An Easy, Inexpensive Improvement That Can Save You Thousands Of Dollars.

This new module will add smarts to all of the older units that have cycle-sentry, giving these units the ability to think for themselves.

Low battery restart
When the unit battery drops to 12.2 volts the Smart Cycle Sentry module senses this through a red wire attached to the unit during installation. When the unit is in the Cycle Sentry Mode it will automatically start the unit for the purpose of charging the battery. When a low battery restart occurs the module will keep the unit running for a minimum of twenty minutes, and the battery must also be charged to at least 13.7 volts before the module will allow the unit to shutdown.

Low fuel shutdown
Running a refrigeration unit out of fuel causes a major problem for the driver. Most drivers are only slightly familiar with refrigeration unit engines, and generally don't know about the engine primer pump and injection pump bleed screws, which become necessary to start a unit that has run out of fuel. With the new Smart Cycle Sentry the engine RPM's are constantly being monitored, and if the unit starts to run out of fuel, the module senses this through the engine RPMs. When the RPMs drop to 1075 for at least 7 seconds the module will immediately shutdown the unit and at the same time a Red Check light will come on warning the driver that the unit has shutdown due to low fuel. B shutting the unit off before it totally runs out of fuel the unit can be refueled and started without the need to use the primer pump and open bleed screws.

Back-up start attempt
With Smart Cycle Sentry your refrigeration unit will go through its normal start attempt, (variable preheat, crank and start) and if it does not start, the unit will go through the exact procedure again, providing a second chance.
