Thermo King remanufactured alternators go through essentially the same manufacturing process as an original Thermo King alternator.
  

• Each alternator is completely disassembled, and each component visually and dimensionally checked. 

• All bearings and brushes are replaced. 

• All components that fail to meet Thermo King's exacting standards are discarded and replaced with new OEM components. 

• All windings and rectifiers are tested for electrical integrity. 

• Finally, each alternator is functionally tested to ensure it meets the same rigid requirements as a new Thermo King alternator.
