Thermo King remanufactured injectors go through essentially the same manufacturing process as an original Thermo King injector. They are not simply rebuilt like other injectors. They are virtually new, yet cost less.

The injectors are completely disassembled and thoroughly cleaned. All nozzles and sealing washers are discarded and replaced with new. All internal metal sealing surfaces are machined and polished to original equipment conditions. Exterior surfaces of all metal components are also refinished in order to minimize corrosion following installation.

Following the remanufacturing process, each injector is tested for opening pressure, spray pattern, chatter and dripping. Injectors that fail to meet original equipment specifications are rejected.

As a final step, each injector is filled with a special fluid preservative, and fuel inlet and outlet connections are protected. This insures maximum shelf life for the injectors, and also helps prevent damage during shipment and handling.
